Are You Fearful of Shining Your Light?

Perhaps you’ve gotten the message that what you do and are great at doesn’t matter.

So you decided it was true.

Somewhere along the way, you stopped trying and settled for less than you deserve, but deep in your heart, you KNOW you have the skills and expertise the world NEEDS.

So, what’s holding you back?

What do you struggle with most in getting your message out to those who matter in your career or business? When you talk about your skills and experience, do you know how to do so confidently?

What do you need to do to make the right people take notice?

If you’re anything like me, you have so many passions and interests, as well as burning desire to contribute to the world. Still, you need help showcasing (and narrowing down) your skills and talents into a cohesive identity that sells.

So, who am I, and how can I help?

Hi, I’m Phyllis

If you are anything like me, you want a career or business that allows you to do your best work on your own terms. I believe you have everything you need to succeed; you need to learn how to make it work for you. Over the last four years, my clients have created successful careers and businesses they absolutely love, by learning to showcase their unique skills and abilities, and attract their dream opportunities.

I Want to Help You do the Same.

I do what I do in the world because I see many ambitious women struggling to get ahead—selling themselves short and failing to recognize (and show) their brilliance.

I know because I’ve been there…

First and foremost, I’m a Mom

The two things I’ve always wanted in life are to be a mother and to have a fulfilling career. I started advertising and marketing and loved the creativity, but I couldn’t escape my core value of helping people, so I became a therapist in the mental health field. When I had my daughter in 2007, I thought I had it all….

Sometimes Life Has Other Plans

My daughter was diagnosed with autism in 2012, and my professional life (and later my marriage) fell apart. I will never regret the choice to become a stay-at-home mom, but when my marriage ended, I returned to the workforce with an out-of-date resume and unforeseen obstacles. Coaching had always been a distant dream that had been unfulfilled up to that time. Certification allowed me to gain new skills but didn’t help me pick a niche or find clients. For that, I was on my own.

The Beginning of the Beginning

For me, being successful is about being able to chart your path. As a newly single mom, I had to find a way to package the skills I already had to earn a living. Using my therapy and branding backgrounds allowed me to do a deep transformative self-assessment and market myself to potential employers and clients. Creating my own Personal Brand that aligned with my strengths and skills enabled me to walk into a six-figure salary as a paid Coach in Silicon Valley within one year. The best part is that I could teach my clients this process with outstanding results.

A Company is Born

I believe the integration of your whole self, combined with your passion, is the key to career happiness. While I loved my work with the agency, there was always a small voice inside that whispered for more. I have a saying that they can take away your job, but they can’t take away your career. By this, I mean being fully aligned with who you are as a professional will allow you to take your best self and continue to do your work on your own terms. The greatest pleasure in starting my own business has been the ability to help women find their ideal work and showcase their expertise.

I Would Love to Help You Create a Successful Career or Business, Doing What You Love, On Your Own Terms
